Recording a medical

Hi all
Have a quick query and i just want to get correct advice for later on if i need it. I understad that you are allowed to have your medical recorded, if i get a medical do i write to atos before the date of the medical as you only get 7 days notice of a medical date, or should it be included in the questionnare. I would have two people coming with me which would help a lot, and i did say to my mum to make notes of all questions and what i have said if need be, another way around it. Who would i write to in regards to this request as i want to make sure i do every thing the correct way and not bring a heap of troube on my head. Thanks guys and good luck to all. Hi paula, thanks for your kind words about this site

You can include your request for a recorded assessment with your ESA50 if you wish, or you can write to DWP/ATOS seperately. Check again when you get the appointment through, if they have not already arranged for recording they will probably have to defer your appointment to give time for this to be set up.
