I've been in the ESA support group cb for around 18 months after a reconsideration. I never received any paper work despite repeatedly asking for it. I've just finished filling out the esa50 to be in end of next week. I know I have to wait & see what they decide, e.g. medical, or instant decision, but whilst I'm waiting will my money just stop. I assumed it would carry on until a decision was made. Otherwise I have no other income. I haven't a clue when my ESA stops as I never got any paperwork, but after reading some posts on here, people said they received no money. Sorry, hope this makes sense.

Hi,
As it seems you are currently in the Support Group, until a decision is made on the new claim your ESA50 relates to your money should continue as normal.
What happens once the decision on your new award is made depends on whether you are again placed into the Support Group or put into the Work related Activity Group and whether or not you currently receive Contribution Based or Income Related ESA or whether you may qualify for Income Based ESA in the future.
