When I attended the ESA medical with my husband we were not asked to produce any identification, we were told to take some, is it usual for them not to check who you are?

Will this have any effect on an appeal?
Thank you kindly in advance.
Hi,
Although it does say to take ID, in many cases it is not checked, or only cursorily checked.
