Medical Report Request ? was created by emma72
Good Afternoon All,

I had my medical on the 26th May, and rang the DWP on Wednesday 30th, to request a copy of the medical report. The chap from the DWP said he would put in a request straight away, but i havent recieved it yet. Does anyone know how long it usually takes ?
My Anxiety is sky high at the moment,as i was told it takes 6 weeks until a decision is made :(

You won't receive a copy of the medical report until after you have been notified of the Decision on your claim.

Thank you for your advice Gordon.
I did forget to mention that the DWP sent me a letter to say, i would need to attend a medical, to see if my condition had deteriorated due to old health conditions, or due to new conditions.
I was on CB ESA which ceased in April, and not recieving anything at the moment.
Would i be entitled to CB ESA again, if i pass the medical, due to new health conditions, would it be classed as a new claim ?
Sorry to bombarde you with all these questions, but you seem very knowledgeable on these subjects.
Thank you.

Base on what you have written this would be a continuation of your claim and therefore you will only have your payments re-instated if you are placed in the Support Group. If you remain in the WRAG you will be eligible for NI Credits which count towards a full State Pension.
