Nothing i can do now but wait. was created by paula
Hi all, finally finished the ESA questionnaire, photocpoied everything, and sent the orignial back with all additional pages (name, etc on each one) and sent it back special delivery signed for 12 days before the deadline! Got the proof of posting certificate attached to my photocoy and sent a copy of everything i sent to atos to the decision maker so someone gets it. I photocopied the proof of posting to the decision maker, to show them that it was sent back to atos within the time specified - thanks for all your fantastic guides, and the info provided here, it was a struggle to fill it out, but its been done, put in suporting letter from CPN, current psychiatrist letter, and current rhuematology letters, photos of deforminites, and husband and mum wrote a letter covering the descriptors and the limitations i have. I feel completely drained and real stressed. One thing i will say though doing a lot of preparation before the questionnaire turned up is well worth doing, it helped with the short time to fill it out. Lots of luck everyone, and thanks again guys.

Hi Paula,

I just noted that with your ESA questionnaire you sent covering letters from you mum and husband, which i might consider also doing for my husband as his problems stem back to 1998.

Just a quick question, when covering descriptors did your mum and husband go into great detail or just use bullet points, as i do not want D/M or Atos to think that i have gone over the top and it works against my husband.

Any advise is appreciated.

Good Luck.

Radhika.

I think it said on this site somewhere the limitations within the descriptors they mention, because my life is really limited by them, mum it was bullet points, and husband just told it how it is, for me the more information they have the better they make a decsion, or at least i hope so. hope you get on ok.

It sound like you have done all you can, I think it is important to illustrate how you meet the relevant descriptor/s and to be consistent.
