also be aware that a several week holiday may raise questions about your extent of disability if it in any way suggests you are more capable than they presently understand you to be.

Anyone engaging in voluntary work, going on holiday, permitted work etc should bear this in mind.

Many times it will be fine but people should be aware

I can't find a reference for claimants receiving Income Support due to Disability, but I would be surprised if it is any different from IB or ESA.

It is worth remembering that although you remain on IS while you are being transferred (i.e. there is no assessment period), once you have begun the transfer you are also bound by the ESA regulations.

I'm only going to stay with my Sister about 10 miles away, so I'll let them know I will be out of the country for a while lol !
