hi had a very stressful weekend, i had a phone call on friday from the job centre saying need to call them back, my ESA CLAIM WENT IN ABOUT 14 WEEKS AGO AND IVE HEARD NOTHING,?
BUT today i called after been on hold for an hour they said I'm in the support group huge relief they said i will be on the support group for two years what happens after that.?
i have not been asked to attend a medical or anything? so will this come later? or is that it now? or can they still request me to for for a medical while on the support group??
I'm still waiting form my letter though just to confirm it
GREAT FORUM, and i really feel for all of you going through this horrid system its not nice, I've been disabled all my life, and the system gets worse
Congratulations, although I would suggest you wait to see it in writing before opening the champagne
As you approach the end of the 2 years you'll receive a new ESA50 to complete and based on that a decision will be made as to whether you need a medical. They can't send you for medical unless they re-assess you, and whilst the award is advisory and therefore the DWP could assess you before the end of the two years, this is very unlikely to happen.
