New Member Awarded LRC 12 weeks later taken off me was created by oasis140711
Hi am a new member and am looking for any advise really on the following:
(I have a Severe Stammer, Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis and Depression)
Summary of my DLA Claim
1. Applied for DLA December 2010 and was refused,
2. Appealed and went to Tribunal October 2011 was awarded LRC (for help with communicating) NO Mobility was awarded caused my submission papers were never received and they said I had withdrawn that part of the claim!
3. The above decision was set-aside and a new Tribunal was heard in January 2012 were I was awarded LRM..... but they took away the LRC that I was initially awarded for the rest of my life.
I was treated very unfairly at my second tribunal as I was having great difficulty communicating and had to write my answers down on a piece of paper and the panel litteraly were throwing the paper back to me.
I have recently been to see a Solicitor regarding all the above who feel that I should re-apply for DLA.
How do I stand as I am already on LRM for 3 years..... do I just claim again or ask them to look at my case again?
Since my second tribunal I have been diagnosed with Oasteoarthritis following an MRI Scan.
Your comments would be very much appreciated.
Kind regards

You can reapply or ask them to look again due to a change of circumstances. However, as you have already found, doing so does carry the risk of losing what you already have!
