Im filling out the appeal form at the moment but im stuck on what to write in the reason as to why im appealing. Ive looked at the guide and it says if you are able to give an example. I cant do this as i have no information as to why i havnt been awarded esa apart from a letter saying i havent scored enough points. Ive sent a letter to the people asking for a copy of all the evidence used to make that decision. Shall i just not put a reason in? Also is there still people such as welfare advisors and if so how do i get one? Cheers
We usually advise that you keep things fairly non-specific at this stage. For instance, you can point out that you do not believe that the severity of your condition has been taken into account and state why you think this.
Funding for welfare rights organisations has reduced but you can still approach somewhere like CAB for advice.
