Medical evidence was created by Fizgog1
I am filling in esa50 form on behalf of my husbsnd and as advised requesting medical evidence. My husband's GP has been very helpful in writing a letter of support. I have requested further evidence from his consultant bhttp://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/images/english/emoticons/ermm.pngut he has said they only deal with the agency and will send a report if requested.
My question is, is this an average response? A friend had the same response from a different consultant in a different hospital. I don't know what to think, is this positive or negative?

Hi. I was told exactly the same thing by my consultant. But I don't see any evidence of Atos requesting the information. We could do with a bit of advice here, I think - hope someone can help. Good luck, by the way.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

My GP's response is a GP's letter isn't worth the paper it's written on. Which isn't particularly what you want to hear or very helpful.

Thanks, that has made feel a little better. The whole process is making me very anxious and I'm the carer not the patient!
Good luck to everyone

Try to stay calm - for your sake and your husband's!
