Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Have a look at our ESA Appeal guide
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa
The following FAQs explain how to appeal
How long do I have to appeal?
How to submit an appeal
Unfortunately the ATOS "doctor" will make assumptions as a result of what you tell them at the assessment, you need to address these discrepancies in your appeal, if you are to show you meet the criteria.
Good luck

Hi YT,
I don,t think they know the meaning of the word truth and as for common sense thats probably a figment of their imagination.
Thanks for the reply, i really don,t know how i,m going to manage moneywise as my last IB payment was paid today, the thought of having to live on £71 per week fills me with dread, there,s no other income other than that for me, how am i expected to pay my bills and buy food, looks lie i,ll have to find a soup kitchen.
All the best with your appeal mine was sent in this week so another waiting game.

I agree also, I think there is too many 'assumptions' used instead of 'facts' in medicals, and my medical today I was asked if I lived alone and I am struggling to think how that is relevant to my ability to work.
