update - still awaiting esa50a

had to make 2 phone calls to dwp regarding this and still havn't received it 13 days on - hoping it will give me some idea of how long before i have to go thro all this again. At the last phone call the 'advisor' told me that there was no use in asking unless i wanted to appeal. The 1st 'advisor' didn't now what i was asking for! the mods on here are right in so much as the staff are very badly trained and this new 'customer friendly' approach means that they treat you like morons!

Sorry to hear of your problems.

If you wish to request the form that will tell you how long your current ESA award is likely to last before you are re-assessed, that would be the ESA85A if you didn't have a "Medical" or the ESA85 if you did. see :

If your phone requests are being ignored, you could make formal written request of the same.

thanks for quick reply. do you think there will be a degree course available for people to sit for dealing with 'them' in a few years time??? its mind boggling trying to remember all the necessary info. the site is a godsend.

Glad to see that you have kept a sense of humour regarding this , as it can be very frustrating and distressing.

Keep pestering until you get what you want, you are entitled to see this documentation under the Data Protection Act 1998.
