getting dla again after a tribunal

getting dla again after a tribunal was created by scottishlemonade
i had the tribunal on the 10th of september and was awarded lower rate mobility.

i phoned up dla on tuesday to change my address as i have moved house and i was told they send me out forms to fill in, is this change of circumstances forms? i got told by a friend it is but i just want to double check

Hi sf,

Well done on winning your DLA appeal. :)

It would seem highly likely that the forms are to do with your change of address.

Obviously, I can't give a definitive answer, they only way to be sure if it's worrying you, would be to re-contact them.

I can't find a link to the information, but I am reasonably certain that this letter will be in connection to your tribunal win. The DWP write to claimants asking for confirmation of bank details, etc. and also request other information such as whether you have been in hospital during the period you were waiting for a hearing.

This being the case, you should contact the DWP as soon as possible to ensure that these forms are sent to your new address, as without them, payment on your claim will not be released.
