Hi, I have been in the WRAG for a couple of years and on the 02/03/12 appealed to be put in the support group. DWP said NO and my appeal was sent to First Tier Tribunal which accepted appeal on 25/08/12. Since receiving the Decision Notice I have heard nothing from DWP/Jobcentre Plus or HMC & Tribunals and then this morning received an ESA50 from Atos. Is this normal? I am quite hopeful of the way things have been going so far after reading posts on here and following your guides with my appeal and I also got my MP involved but I am starting to wonder what is going to happen.
Hi ESA,
They can issue another ESA50 whilst you are awaiting an appeal to get into the SG.

Just to be clear, you have not actually had your Tribunal hearing yet?Hi, I have been in the WRAG for a couple of years and on the 02/03/12 appealed to be put in the support group. I am afraid, that appealing to be placed in the Support Group from the WRAG does not excuse you from re-assessment, you need to complete the ESA50 in detail and return it by the required date.
Hopefully, this will result in you being placed in the Support Group, but if not, you can appeal the Decision, even though this will potentially mean you have two appeals runningin parallel.

As bro says, it is not unusual for people to start the assessment process all over again while still awaiting appeal
