Notice re end of ESA (C)

I've heard nothing at all, although I think my 365 days are up in the next couple of weeks as I think I was switched from IB at the end of October last year.
Surely they cannot just stop payment without giving any sort of notice or detailing the options open to me?

Has anybody received the proposed 8 weeks notice re the end of ESA (C)?

Hi h,
You should indeed receive 8 weeks notice that your payments of Contribution Based ESA in The WRAG are coming to an end, if that is the case.
You should then be assessed to see if you are entitled to Income Related ESA.

I'm feeling really stressed that they haven't bothered to contact me to let me know my options.
Anybody else in the same situation?

I am not sure we can answer this.I've still heard absolutely nothing from them yet by my calculations my 365 days is up today.

The documentation produced by the DWP on the Time Limiting of ESA(CB) says that they intend to notify the claimant 8 weeks in advance.
However, the legislation itself, does not include any requirement to notify the claimant in advance of the payments being stopped, nor, despite several searches, can I find a general requirement for the DWP to notify claimants in advance of changes to their benefits (this does not mean it does not exist).
The change is implemented, as I understand it, by a SuperSession of the claim, which results in a new Decision being made, so there is a requirement for the claimant to be notified of this new Decision once it has been made.
The only thing I can recommend s for you to contact the DWP for an update on your claim.
