i know my reass is in 3yrs and ive req esa85/85a already., dealt with over phone today. their letter however tells me esa payment period 10-30th nov 2012. the letter auto puts in any old end date ? their words not mine. its just a system glip to get the esa letter out to everyone. i shall of course keep an eye on bank payments

I don't know about 'random' dates. In my experience, the two that come up frequently are April and November.

i got lucky the dwp person who took my call was very helpful and gave me everything i asked for. nothing was too much for her.

I wonder? if they've put me in the support group because I've a long term illness ie spina bifida, because I'm a wheelchair user? Just out of interest Mrs. Hurtyback how do they decide if you are in the support group or WRAG? d'you know?

Gaining ESA in the WRAG depends on scoring at least 15 points on assessment whereas the Support Group is not based on points but on meeting very specific criteria
