Hi,

I have finally received my Subject Access Request in relation to my initial assessment and subsequent reassessment. Both were paper-only assessments, and I received an ESA85A, one-page computer record, and an LT54.

On both ESA85As the "Advice" section is the standard: "I advise that the client meets support group criteria as they are suffering from some specific disease or mental disablement and, by reasons of such disease or disablement, there would be a substantial risk to the mental or physical health of any person if they were found not to have limited capability for work-related activity.

For my initial assessment the "Justification of Advice" was from the "ESA50, Med 3 and verifiable medical fact" and the ESA50 and verifiable medical fact indicated the substantial mental or physical risk. For the reassessment, the available evidence was the "ESA50, Med 3 and medical evidence" and the "Med 3 and medical evidence" justified the substantial mental or physical risk. A specific reason of what risk was identified was given in each case but was different for each.

The LT54 was very vague and basically said the Decision Maker says I have 15 points and then says "by reason of his mental and physical condition" I meet at least one of the Support Group descriptors so I have limited capability for work and work-related activity.

Overall, nothing great but at least I know I have qualified for Support Group on special circumstances on both assessments, albeit for different reasons each time.

Just thought I would share this in case it is helpful for anyone else awaiting Subject Access Requests.
