Scheduled surgery was created by summertrain
I have had notification that I have to go into hospital for surgery in April 2013.

Would this affect my assessment for ESA? Should I include this information on the ESA50? I am filling out the ESA50 now.

Bearing in mind that I would need several weeks to recover, where I wouldn't be fit for any sort of work, I wonder whether this would be taken in consideration, or whether it simply dosn't tick their precious little Lima powered boxes.

It is probably worth mentioning, but it is very unlikely to have any impact on your current assessment, which is looking at your conditions as they are now, not as they may be at some time in the future.

Made not a scrap of difference to my claim, Aug 2012, when I included in ESA form info that I had been waiting since last Dec for two major, separate operations, which are due to be started next week, with second one in spring 2013. This is in addition to the fact that I am not able to mobilise 50m due to an unrelated impairment. I was still put in WRAG.

Hope you get a DM with compassion, but wouldn't like to bet on your chances.

Best wishes
