Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Part of the problem is that both ATOS and the DWP operate mail drop centres that then distribute to specific offices.
Regarding the use of Recorded Mail or Next Delivery, on the whole these work, but the tracking aspect is certainly less than 100%, however, where everything comes together, it appears to offer higher level of comfort to most claimants, which should not be ignored.

Hi,
I sent a recorded delivery letter to ATOS stating my Disability needs for the assessment. I also said the appointment was at the wrong time of day, but I would attend as I find it too stressful to correspond as I already had the original appointment changed by them twice. I told them to change the appointment on the phone and stated the details in the form which they ignored.
There is a problem with Royal Mail not attaining signatures when the post is picked up. Really the complaint is with Royal Mail, but at least you have proof you sent it.
My needs were not respected or referred to during my assessment and I was kept there for over an hour - with CFS! I had to force her to give the second break and she was annoyed about it, thinking she was the one in control, when I have been expressly told by the hospital that regarding Pacing, I am in control.
