Hi to fellow moderators,

I feel this thread has run it's course, so I'd be inclined to lock it.

However, as I have contributed little to this thread, I wouldn't dream of locking it, so will leave to the main posters who have.

I you're happy to keep it open, that's fine by me, but I really cannot see what further information can be added ?

Best regards.

Jim

As always, your caring and prompt impartial advice is always welcomed by members with much respect and always appreciated.
Yes I had wondered and considered and may well do.
We all have probs
My recent episode of BIH (update known as IIH) from a head injury years ago (horrific pressure to head) without my 'managing the warning signs' - must of got myself worked up and stressed without realising it (possibly) - knocked me off my feet for eight days, couldnt eat even the pain horrific, lumbar punctures is norm to relieve the pressure which I dont fancy either, this conditions wasnt mentioned in my ESA form (dumb me, neither were the effects of it etc, because I'd been managing it better and not had a bad bout for a while) but it was the Pych report submitted (wasnt read I'm sure of) neigh mind, this was one of my faults.
Sadly, desperately short of advisors in Welfare Rights sadly, due to lack of funding by government, people like me we're desperate for guidance where overlapping conditions need to be explained etc, 6/8 week wait for appointment with local Council. Yes I do need assistance and with my DLA form too, but I will have to think of something.
Arthritis - to both hands was not written down in black and white, but other area's were lower back/sciatica, knees, odema etc, neigh mind - lesson learnt. I will let you know when the clouds clear, if I've managed to get some advsior to assist me. Need to speak with my GP to ensure Patient profile is updated.
Error of Law may be established, but I have to consider also, that they can only consider what I put on the form at the time, and the 4 family statements, an older Pych report with lots of diagnosis and conditions together with a brief 'list' of medical conditions (which my GP thought should be 'sufficient') and copy of Patient Profile from GP - I would not be able to add or change anything now.
I Am just disappointed that the process could of been more Humane rather one of a very dominant Judge (solicitor).
and maybe I should think about spending time in ensuring my DLA form is completed as per the guides and information, with improved supporting evidence (hard to get?)
Take Care yourself, I do my best to follow others comments in the forum, and can see you mods all work so very hard, your time is appreciated, you don't realise how much.
Much Regards Janette

This thread is becoming too personal. This is not a discussion forum, Steve had to close that over a year ago. We are an information forum, so cannot deal with individual claims as is made clear in our FAQ's.

Therefore, I am locking this thread to further replies from members.

Moderators can of course add any comments they feel necessary, even when a thread is locked.
