DBD138 was created by spasm
Hi, wonder if you can answer my question....at the moment I am filling in the form DBD138 to have my night time care needs re-assessed. I'm not going to get it filled in with-in the four week time limit, as I am waiting for a letter from my specialist. As it is getting nearer to when PIP comes in, will they automatically assess me as a new claimant(under the PIP criteria) or will I still be assessed under the current DLA rules? This is if I manage to get the form returned by xmas/January 2013. I do realise that they may re-assess my whole DLA claim, I do have the support already in letter form from myn GP and my local MP for Westminster.

PIP for existing DLA claimants will not be implemented before the last quarter of 2013, at the earliest, so you will be re-assessed under the DLA Regulations.
