does anyone know if dla benfits stops after 4 weeks if you go in hospital, do i have to notify them about this if its only 3 weeks thanks wendy

Yes, they stop after 28 days. However, you should also notify the DLA Unit on 08457 123456
as hospital stays are aggregated, if re-admitted within 28 days of discharge.

Payments will be suspended after 28 days in hospital, however, repeat admissions, seperated by 28 days or less, will also be accumulated towards the total.hiya

You are required to notify the DWP of any overnight stay in a hospital, not just when you exceed the four weeks, so you should contact them immediately.
