I've appealed after Bro's pep talk lol and although I've not received the ESA85A back i'm pretty certain mine will be a carbon copy of yours, fithgear.
Although I'm rather concerned as I sent my GL24 back and a covering letter via registered post on Friday and it's still showing it's in the Royal Mail system for processing.
Hi k,
I wouldn't be to concerned yet regarding your GL24 not showing up as delivered, this has happened to quite a few of our members, only for it show as delivered a few days later. If this doesn't happen you can ring Royal Mail for confirmation, again some of our members have had to do this.

Cheers Bro I'll keep checking. Bearing in mind I sent a recorded letter the same time to the bank reference a matter of fraud on my sons account which is showing the same it's probably a blip in the system somewhere.

Hi,
Your GP confirms you have arthritis, is this only in your legs or else where???
Radhika.
Because if it were 'just' in your legs, you would be judged as able to self-propell a manual wheelchair and thus not score points under the mobilising descriptor. If you have upper body problems or some other reason why you could not use a manual wheelchair it would be helpful for your GP to confirm this.

Yes got it will look to my gp giving me further evidence for now,But will have to go back to my consultants for further info.
And it is at least 6 month before my next consultants appointment. Thanks again for your kind help.
You are most welcome fg.

Quite a few of our members have had successful reconsideration by reiterating information already provided, particularly tieing it in to the relevant SG descriptors, even so far as quoting the actual descriptors.
Obviously, any fresh evidence should help.
You could try contacting your Consultant's secretary, if the Consultant is supportive, if you explain your predicament, the Consultant may provide a letter of support before your next appointment.
For future reference, you can make a request to the Consultant's secretary that any future post clinic letters to your G,P, are copied in to yourself, there are no forms to fill in for this and a verbal request should be sufficient.
Please keep us informed.
