can i ask for advice/opinions again please? I made a new claim for ESA in October 2012 after losing my appeal . I was asked to attend a medical assessment again and the Atos doctor was as nice as the first assessing doctor for my 1st ESA claim was rude and aggressive. I passed the assessment and got a letter today to say i'd been placed in the WRAG. I know this means i have to go for interviews, 6 apparently but i don't understand what they're for or what i'm expected to do at them, or indeed what is the expected outcome of them. How often will i be called for interview for instance? The amount of my ESA award was raised after my assessment, but to me its saying 'you ARE disabled, here's more money, but go for interviews now and get back to work'!! I'm lost as usual. Any advice anyone please?
With tons of thanks in advance.

Hi Ft,
Being placed into the WRAG is in fact stating that you are unfit for work, as you have Limited Capability for Work. ((LCW)
However, to be exempt from compulsory Work Related Activity, (WRA) which obviously includes WFI's, you would have to gain entry to The Support Group. (SG), this would then mean that you would be classed as being unfit to take part in any WRA, as you would have Limited Capability for Work Related Activity, (LCWRA) as well as LCW.
The extra money that you have been paid will be the WRA Component of ESA.
WFI's and WRA, is supposed to prepare you for work at some time in the future, and could include such things as compiling CV's, attending courses, etc.
Have a look at the following :
Work Focussed Interviews
Work Programme
Changes to ESA Sanctions
If you are in receipt of Contribution Based (CB) ESA only in The WRAG, this will apply to you also :
12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)

I am not sure what your illness or disability is, but the guides on here are very good - I used them both for my ESA form and my appeal form.
