I had to go to live with my parents because my health got much worse - but would now like to try to live independently again. Its been 2 months since my appeal so its pretty early stages. Would it disrupt the process to move to another area? Im talking moving from Suffolk into London.

It should not but it might.
You do not say whether the mandatory Reconsideration process has been completed by the DWP, if not, then you only need to contact the DWP, but I would still ask your parents to make you aware of any letters you get.
If your case has been passed to the Tribunal Service, then you also need to contact the Tribunal Service, quoting the reference the TS will have given you for your appeal.

Providing they have adequate notice they should be able to move it to your new area, however, if it is more convenient for you to have it all done in the current area, then you should tell them this.MECFSrecovery wrote: ah it was my understanding that the process would be taking place in my area - seeing as Ive been communicating with my local jobcentre and appeal stuff sent there...

No, even if it could be assumed that in moving you were caarying out activities that were contrary to your stated limitations, for example carrying heavy boxes, this could not be considered in any Reconsideration or Appeal, as they can only look at evidence that is relevant to the date of the Decision.
