I am now in the process of completing transfer from IB by ESA50 form. I am supplying some medical records and letters. My condition is long term and degenerative.
It also asks if there is any other info.that you want to supply. I wondered if any info. from when I was working full time (with health condition but prior to it degenerating to where it is not possible) and also : paid to also go to night school for further qualification, did voluntary work in the community and also took part of annual holiday to attend residential programme for this, and also took annual holiday for surgery and hospital appointments?
Would this help to evidence that I was one of the strivers? or would it be unhelpful?
Thank you - I am sorry but I have not totally got the hang of the way to thank you following a post.

The assessment is in regard to your current condition(s) and the limitations that result.
So the question to ask yourself is whether these events are relevant to how you are today?
If you could not do these things now, then they are not relevant to your current assessment, further, mentioning them could be detrimental if the ATOS assessor assumes them to be recent activities rather being something from your past.
In more general terms, being seen as a "striver" is unlikely to be of any value in your assessment.

I was in two minds whether to include - just get upset when I am thought of as one who has not tried. I understand your reasoning - much appreciated
