Sorry to read that you did not get a successful DLA tribunal. I also didnt get DLA at tribunal stage. There is no time scale on DLA so I applied again and was successful at the doctor assessment stage, try again

Hi C, and : Welcome to Benefits and Work
Please have a look at the post that I did a day or so ago to another member, from this link :

It should answer your query.
Please be aware that if you do make a fresh claim for DLA, to try and gain an award of The Mobility Component, your Care Component award will also be looked at again, so there may be some risk.
Where to get advice?
Please repost on this topic if you have any further queries.

You can appeal the Decision to the Upper Tribunal but only on there being an Error of law.Chet wrote: I just got a letter from the tribunal service today informing me that my recent dla tribunal was unsuccessful. What is an Error of Law?
A first stage of this is to request a written STatement of Reaons
Tribunals – Requesting a Statement of Reasons
We are limited in the help that we can provide should you decide to follow this route, so you should consider getting face to face advice from someone with experince in this area.
There is no restriction on you making a new claim for DLA, which can run in parallel to any appeal you might make.
You say you are in the Support Group, do you know on what basis this is as the ESA mobility test is far stricter than the equivalent DLA one.
