consultant medical information was created by chuck37
hi i asked my consultant for medical information and was told not allowed to give it or for them to write me a letter about my condition if this true.
they said they just fill the form in they receive from the dwp.

There are certain circumstances where detailed medical information can be considered as dangerous to the patient, of course, it could also be that the Consultant is just being difficult.

...or mistaken. It seems some medics really believe that the DWP will contact them if needed and that they should not write an anticipatory letter.
