DLA advice was created by bobingalong
Hello forum
After just being migrated from IB to ESA without a face-to-face interview. I asked for advice on the forum as to whether I should have my DLA now re-assessed, after studying the links that bro58 suggested that I look at and requesting my ESA85A medical report, which I have now received. The medical report is in my favour by that I mean atos have stated that I cannot walk more than 50 m without severe discomfort and that there is no likelihood that my condition will get better. The question I'm asking is can I use the ESA85A medical report as a piece of my evidence along with all the other evidence I submitted with the ESA 50 questionnaire if I decide to have my DLA reassessed?.
Thank you for all your help.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Yes, you can use anything that you think will be helpful. The mobility descriptor for ESA is more stringent than the DLA requirements.

Thank you Mrs Hurtyback
I know it sounds a bit obvious but I wasn't sure if I could use this information in my favour or not, and with the mobility descriptor for ESA being more stringent than the DLA requirements. It could be a stronger case in my favour.
Thank you Bob
