i have recently put a new claim in for dla and sent my neurologist, cpn and gp report got a call from a nice dla lady who asked me if i go out alone in which i replied no due to my mobility and mentle health problems she also asked me if i still suffer blackouts and i repied by saying not of late however i still have cocerntration loss and vagueness mainly due to the the high dosahe of morphine patches i wear and progabalin for chronic pain which prevents me walking far.she said she had sent a letter to my neurologist and will wait for her reply before making a decision.i was advised to claim dla by my cab advicer and cpn.
i currently have an esa tribunal on the 20th february as well at sutton and she also pionted out that she got intouch with esa and was given a report on my conditions going back a year.
i am now worried wether i have done the right thing by applying and answering her questions on the phone.
has this happened to anyone else and if so were you succesfull with your claim or not.

It is unusual for what I assume is a DWP Decision Maker to directly contact you about your claim, but it does happen.
I am afraid there is no way to know the effect of the conversation on your claim until you are notified of the result, hopefully it will have aided you.
