Am I entited to record my medical assessment if I live abroad.I gave been told by the DWP this is not possible, but surely I am entitled to the same treatment as a UK based person.

There is no legal requirement for the DWP to record an ESA assessment, even in the UK, the position is that they will make reasonable endeavours to do so, but it cannot be guaranteed on the day, even if previously agreed to.

In principle, you can make a covert recording of the interview, this would be legal within the UK, but I do not know what the position is in France, you would need to check before proceeding.
