ESA50: Mentioning past work, ambitions, etc was created by MariW
When completing an ESA50 (or attending a WCA assessment) ought a claimant mention the career moves, ambitions, etc that have been rendered impossible because of the progress of a medical condition? Some things appear in my medical records alongside key diagnostic and prognostic statements and serve to illustrate the reality of my condition. However, I’ve heard it’s risky to appear to be a “Striver” or even to admit to having hobbies/interests. Thanks for any advice.

Hi MW,
You could give a brief resume of past employment, and how and why your medical conditions and resulting limitations forced you to give this up.
With respect to being a "Striver", I do not think that is of any relevance to The ESA50, which is a "Capability" assessment questionnaire.
Best leave the "Shirker" and Striver" nonsense to our wonderful Government and their cohorts in the press/media.
Don't be giving them any ideas !!!

Thanks, bro58,
Giving them ideas is exactly what I want to avoid.
