ah right, thanks Gordon. I think I will send the DM a copy just for my own peace of mind.
I will report back on this topic when I hear back from ATOS/DWP

Apologies, one more question, i looked for the answer as i know i have read it elsewhere but i couldn't find it.
I am sending this copy ESA50 file to the benefit centre who wrote to me recently.
1) Do I address it to the Decision Maker?
2) Do I write my name and NI number on the rear of the envelope or did I dream that?
Thanks again

Hi fl,
Although you should write your NI Number, DOB and name on any documentation enclosed, you should only put you name address and postcode on the back of the envelope.
This should ensure that it arrives on the correct person's desk.

Sorry, I was expecting the FAQ to cover this, You need to make sure that your full name, NIN and date of birth are on each page, I would not include your NIN on the outside of the envelope.
