tribunal question was created by Sue
hope you can help with this. A member of local ME support group have a tribunal on Saturday. She has approached her GP for corroborative evidence to support her appeal. Her GP agreed but went on annual leave without writing the letter. As this is her only medical evidence is there precedent/case-law we could argue for the panel to adjourn the hearing until she can produce the letter- i was thinking in regards giving her fair hearing
thank you
thank you

They can write to the Tribunal Service asking for an adjournment to allow them to collect this evidence, but I think it likely that it will be refused on the basis that they will in all likelihood have had at least six months to do this, if not longer.

It is still worth giving it a shot, if nothing else it ensures that a request has been made and logged, given the timescales, they should try ringing the TS this afternoon and then follow it up in writing.
