self employment from incapacity was created by maryo
Any advice greatly appreciated,
If coming off incapacity into self employment would that put DLA at risk,or cause a reconsideration?
Also Return To Work Credit if claimed would that do the same?,as I believe a buisness plan has to be sent to the benefits agency........., also does anyone know the procedure for claiming RTWC?
Who do you inform, and how etc?
Many thanks in advance.

Returning to work while claiming DLA is not usually considered a Change of Circumstances, but if the work you are doing contradicts the care and/or mobility requirements you have stated then it could result in a re-assessment of your claim. As an extreme example; you take a job delivering mail by foot and you have a mobility award.
The following link has details of RtWC

Will this benefit change after the 1st Oct, as it says on the link that you have to start work before 1st October?

It says at the bottom of the same page that RtWC ceases on 1 October, I am afraid I do not know if it is being replaced with anything else.

ST
A quick search suggests that it has been removed because of the Universal Credit, which in principle would cover the difference, assuming the UC was actually available to the majority of claimants which is not and will not be by 1 October.
