Hi ang,
It sounds as if the ESA50 form has been sent out ahead of a 3 month reassessment. it is unusual for someone in the Support Group to be reassessed so soon, but not impossible.
You could try phoning DWP (at the number on letters from them) to find out what is going on. You will have to ask for an escalation in order to speak to a manager, as phone centre staff are not likely to fully understand the system. However, I'm afraid that you will have to fill in the form and submit it on time unless you get confirmation from DWP in writing that this is not necessary.

Edited to add - you will have to be called back by the manager/supervisor, they will not be able to speak to you instantly.

In addition to Mrs H's reply, have you received a payment notice that has an "end" date of November?
If you are basing your next assessment date on this November date then it is unlikely that this is when you will be next assessed, the date is an administration date used by the DWP, you will also see one in the April of next year.
You should be able to get your re-assessment date by phoning the DWP, failing that, request your ESA85 if you had a face to face, or the ESA85A if you did not, the prognosis is usually used to set this date.

Well spotted Gordon! I read the OP to say that a new ESA50 has been received but, on re-reading, that is not what was said!

Good point G,
It seems from angd's previous posts that they were placed into The SG as the result of a reconsideration of a fit for work decision some 4 months ago. :
