Still no news on result of ESA renewal form

I had a deadline to return my ESA50 form by the end of June. It is now November 7th and I haven't heard anything. Is this the longest anyone has waited ? Or have others waited even longer ? This is just for the standard yearly renewal that I get every 12 months, no transfer or anything. Usually it only takes 2 and a half months for a result.

I'm afraid that DWP/ATOS seem to be even slower than usual at the moment and the time that you have waited is becoming the norm rather than the exception. As you probably know, there is no standard time that this process has to be completed in so the claimant has little/no comeback

The interval between reassessment does not have to be 12 months. It can vary between 3 months and 2 years (for WRAG) or 3 years (for Support Group) so let's hope you get a bit longer next time!

I sent my ESA50 back on 12 December last year and it was August of this year before I had my face to face, have to say that within a month of my f2f I had a letter putting me in the wrag which I appealled and was put in the support group with a reconsideration about 2 weeks after DWP received my GL24.

Thanks both of you. The main concern I have is that the longer time means they are making an appointment for a F2F as my previous 2 renweals didn't need a F2F, but they were much quicker at telling me. I hope it is just they are snowed under, rather than a change to my previous times.

I really don't think you can draw any inference from the delay.

I am still waiting from aprill they lost my form so I have had to do it all again. I am done worrying now.
