Cardiff Citizens Advice Bureau is to close by the end of October with all 12 staff losing their jobs, the BBC is reporting.

The reasons for the closure have not been made clear, although it is understood that the bureau'​s funding had not been cut. According to the chair of the management committee:

"​It'​s not a question of purely running out of cash. It'​s not through a lack of funding. It'​s just a whole amalgam of circumsta​nces."​

An interim service is being put in place by other local CAB offices.
