My question is simple he takes the following per day,
600mg of quetiapine, 20mg of diazepam,375 mg of Venlafaxine, 100mg of Lamotrigine, 400mg of slow realease tramadol, 45 mg of Mirtazapine. He also takes various medications for Crohnns decesase and various inhalers for Asthma.
The effects of the cocktail of drugs he takes is absolutely devastating but obviously necceasry.
Can anyone be found unfit for work purely on the amounts and effects of such large dosses of medication?

Hi sb,
With ESA, it is the limitations caused by any medical conditions that may qualify you for an award in The WRAG or SG, moreover than the medical conditions themselves.
Although it is stated that side effects caused by medication prescribed for Physical medical conditions will only be considered with the "Physical" qualifying descriptors, and likewise with side effects from drugs taken for Mental Health conditions will only be considered with The Mental Health qualifying descriptors, I would list all relevant side effects, and what limitations they cause.
To reiterate this, you could provide copies of the information leaflets that come with the Meds, or print off the relevant details from the web.
So, yes, side effects caused by prescribed medication, should be taken into account, as well as the limitations caused by said side effects.
