How much evidence?
I am afraid there is no specific answer to this
New evidence is better than old evidence unless it clearly states that your condition will not improve or will in actual fact will deteriorate.
Evidence that addresses the ESA Descriptors is better than any that does not. I am afraid that a GP letter that says that the patient is unable to work will have little value in comparison that says that they meet Descriptor X because of problems with Y caused by condition Z.
For ESA (not PIP) a Consultants report is more likely to carry weight than one from you GP.
A specific diagnosis better than a general one.
If you can, try and provide medical evidence for each ESA Descriptor (Question), don't be afraid to repeat yourself and to make the same reference to the same evidence in multiple questions, it may seem obvious to you but your can't assume that it will be to the ATOS assessor or the DWP Decision Maker.
