PIP and being over 65 was created by Kaydee
Hi Everyone.
I was awarded a two year PIP last year and I am currently waiting for a date from ATOS as to when my first annual assessment will be.
However, next year I will turn 65 before my PIP benefit comes to an end. Does anyone know what will happen then? Will I be put onto Attendance Allowance, or will the PIP continue if I still qualify?
Any insight would be gratefully received

As long as you continue to qualify for PIP (on this claim), you will continue to be paid the benefit even if your claim is renewed after you are 65.
It is only new claims for PIP that cannot be made after the age of 65 or State Retirement Age, which ever is the later, the exception to this is those who are currently claiming DLA who were under 65 on 8 April 2013 but will be over 65 when invited to claim PIP.
