DWP losing mail

Twice DWP has sent me an IS50 form to ascertain SDP entitlement following my successful migration from low rate DLA to enhanced rate PIP. Both times I've sent the form back the same day I received it.
Both times DWP has claimed to have not received the completed form, over two weeks after posting. I know DWP's internal mail is shambolic but I would have expected it to have arrived at its destination two full weeks later.
I phoned up today and DWP will be sending me a third form to return and the lady advised me to hand it in to the local Jobcentre to forward on via their internal mail system rather than posting it to the Wolverhampton black hole - but I suspect the mail is being lost in DWP's internal system rather than via Royal Mail anyway.
Is it at all possible for a DM to go through the IS50 questions over the phone if this third form also goes astray? Or is there anything else I can do to give them the information they're wanting?!!!

Your problem is that the IS50 is more than just a form to collect data, you are attesting to the fact the information is correct, so they will require your completed form to process any SDP that is due.
If you take it to the JC+, you will need to make an appointment to do this, then they should be able to scan the document and send it directly to the required department as well as sending the paper copy through the internal mail.

Hi J,
Re : "The Wolverhampton Black Hole" !!

Are you sure that the Form isn't an : IS10 Form ?
It can take 2 weeks or more for the DWP to scan documentation on to your file.
The mail is delivered to Wolverhampton, where it is then sorted by postcode, only then to be physically re-delivered to Kidderminster or Telford, where it is opened, scanned/e-mailed to the appropriate local Benefits Office :

No wonder mail goes missing !!!!
You can of course fill in another form, copy it, and post it :
Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS
As well as taking the original to The Local JCP, (which you may have to make a prior appointment for) to be sent electronically to the correct dept.
If they say that it is lost again, I would push the issue further.
You should not be out of pocket, as any entitlement to payment of The SDP should be backdated to the time of The PIP Daily Living Award.

I will definitely attempt to make an appointment to get the next form scanned in at the Jobcentre. Surely they can't claim it's not received then! Oh wait, this is DWP we're talking about

Their internal mail approach you described seems absolutely ridiculous... as you say, it's no wonder mail goes missing.
