ESA Support group with no medical!!!!

Just wanted to give feedback on my situation. I only started claiming ESA at the end of December and submitted my form along with a 3 month fit note early January.

I received a text on Saturday saying 'following your work capability assessment you no longer need to send in more fit notes'. I called DWP this morning and they informed me that based on my completed form and evidence I submitted they have placed me in the Support group for 24 months!.

I'm so relieved and the whole process has been really quick. I used the guidance notes on this website which really helped.

You should receive a written decision notice letter informing you of the SG award.

Even though it seems that you are aware of the prognosis period, (24 months) you may want to request other information that may be useful when the time comes for your reassessment.
