pensions lump sum was created by Tommy Miner
if i take a lump sum from my personel pension pot while i am claiming contribution based esa and placed in the support group while taking my lump sum pension payment willit effect my entitlement to contribution based esa payment if my wife who is also claiming contribution based esa support group is placed in the income related esa will her now means tested income related esa then be effected by my taking a lump sum payment from my personel pension or does my wifes income have no bearing on what amount of pension i take from my personel pension and put into savings or would my pension lump sum be considered to be part of my wifes means tested income thanks

Income Related benefits are always claimed as a couple (where there is a partner), so if either of you is receiving or hopes to receive ESA(IR) then your joint income, savings and assets will be considered in regard the claim.
