Hi R,
Good luck and please let us know how you got on !!
Remember, how you manage the return trip to/from the Assessment Centre will be taken into account as part of the actual assessment.
You may be observed on approaching, leaving and whilst inside the centre.
Assumptions may be made by the assessor with regards to the above.
These assumptions could result in the assessor writing comments/recommendations within the ESA85 medical report which they compile and send to The DWP.
You can read what to expect at the face to face in our ESA Claims Guides
Fingers crossed for you !!!!

If you were paid the ESA Assessment rate while you waited for your appeal then there is no back payment to be made as this is all you would have been entitled to had there been no problems with your claim, so I wouldn't worry about it.

My recollection was that this a was a new claim but looking back to your original post it would seem that it was a re-assessment and an award was already in place.
If this is the case then that award should be re-instated until a new Decision is made after you have had an assessment and you should receive back payment of the difference between what you should had received, but for the failure to attend and what you have actually received, whether this was paid in error or not.
