is it possible to get the enhanced rate care after being on middle rate dla
and is it possible to get enhance rate mobility from being on the low rate
regarding the low rate mobility, i have a problem with my tail bone and i need to use ointment on it every day in order to walk, if i don't use the ointment it gets very irritated and bleeds among other things and it is impossible to walk.
can ointment be a walking aid? i think it is with me and i hope my GP would back me up, i go for another examination for it tomorrow.
is it possible i could get both awards and is it rare or just really hard? idk, thanks in advance.

In principle there is no reason why you cannot receive the Enhanced rates for PIP Daily Living and Mobility, but it really is not that easy.
DLA Middle rate Care is awarded because a claimant has care needs, either during the day or the night, but not both. You cannot receive the Higher rate, however much care you need unless it is required both and night. Under PIP the assessment looks at the severity of your problems and does not consider when you have issues, so some claimants will be able to receive the Enhanced rate, where they could not get HRC.
If you are receiving Lower Rate Mobility then this will be because you are considered to have problems with planning and following a route. The PIP test for this is stricter than DLA and it will very much depend on how your problems affect you as to points you will score. However, unlike DLA which treated going out and walking as separate, PIP combines the two so you may also be able to score points because your walking is limited. The combination of the two may allow you to score the 12 points need for an Enhanced award.
I have to say, based on your description, that I think it unlikely that you will receive points for your problem with your tail bone.
You should have a look at our PIP Claim guide for more details of the PIP assessment criteria

I have merged your query with the previous topic relating to your PIP claim. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place - and I hope you will find it useful too. You will find it easily if you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now

It is good to know that your psychiatrist thinks highly of you - but I agree that it might not be terribly helpful for your PIP claim. Is this a letter, or did the psychiatrist indicate that this is what he would say if approached by the assessor?
If it is a letter, only you can decide whether to submit it in evidence and that will depend on what else it says. Don't send it in if you think it would be deleterious to your claim.
If the psychiatrist means that he would speak highly of you if approached by DWP, you should know that it is uncommon for DWP to approach consultants for evidence. I understand that the assessment provider (ATOS or Capita) is not allowed to request a report from consultants, due to the cost involved. Only DWP can do this and by the time your claim reaches them the assessor will already have made a recommendation.

i was wondering if i should write worst case scenario but i was worried i might get into trouble for fraud if my circumstances changed, should i write worst case scenario?
and could you tell me if i might get a face to face? my previous dla was indefinitely
also could you tell me if i could request an assessment and if this would affect my claim, i hate waiting for this and i just want it over with,
p.s. will i keep getting assessed throughout my life? and will it be every 2 years sea and pip?
thanks

You must provide a balanced explanation of how your conditions affect you, you can certainly explain how you are at your worst but you must also explain how you are for the majority of the time and how you are at your best, for each of these explain how long you are affected in that way.
I'm afraid it's not possible to say whether you would have a face to face, to some extent it will depend on your conditions and how detailed your PIP2 is.
You can self select to be moved to PIP, but you really need to consider how well you meet the PIP criteria before you do, the new benefit is designed to be a lot tougher to receive an award for and I'm sure you don't want find that you have a worse award or none at all when you could still be receiving your current DLA award.
Of course if you reasonably believe that you could be receiving a higher award or at least the same under PIP then you should think at a transfer, just be pessimistic in how you mark yourself.
