Have brachial plexus (erbs palsy) can't get pip

Hi I have brachial plexus injury from birth also known as erbs palsy live in chronic pain everyday had been receiving low rate care since I was 18, now 39! Applied for pip had lots of surgery life time of Physio hydro you name it I've tried it. I work even though I have awful sleep I want live my life and best for your own well being to be out and about. Pip assessment was a huge joke he said I have same strength in both arms my shoulder blade is wired around my ribcage had muscle transfer as arm so weak living on high dose of morphine and lots other medication I've asked for mandatory reconsideration and had another no. They also trying take my disabled element of tax credit off me as I know longer receive dla I'm a mess so upset and angry seems assessor didn't think I need it as kept making remarks that I work! All things he asked me to do I couldn't please if anyone can help me I'm at my wits end thank you x

Have you requested a copy of the assessor's report? If not, it would be worth doing so as it will help explain why you failed to score the necessary points to be awarded PIP.

If you don't want to go through any of this, there is nothing to stop you from making a new claim straight away. This would be recommended particularly if you look at our guide and feel that you did not describe your limitations in the best way.
