I am on long term sick from my employment and currently on ESA support group furthermore I also receive a group permanent health insurance remuneration on a monthly basis that was not declared to the council tax dept.
The DWP had originally classified the insurance sum as a private pension and deducted remuneration from my ESA payments but since made enquiries and have confirmed to me they do not believe this is the case as its under the umbrella of a group permanent insurance plan therefore not a private pension
However now the council tax dept. have also stated they knowledge that I have a private pension and have suspended my council tax , please advise Will I have to pay back any overpayment that has occurred over the period I have received a discount?
