Filling in pip form was created by mrsoptic
Hello, my dreaded brown envelope arrived this week to say my indefinite award of DLA for the last 21 years is coming to an end. I have until 5th October to apply for PIP. I'm planning on leaving things until the last week to allow me a couple of extra weeks to gather evidence together from my doctors and relevent people. I have already been through PIP this year with my husband and we were lucky as he was granted his decision first time around without problems.
With my own form though I'm wondering if I am able to type my "more information" bit to each question at all? Due to my medical condition I physically can't hold a pen at the moment and I noticed there is no PDF format either like the ESA forms- very handy for disabled people
I also have very complex problems and I prefer to overload them with everything like I have done before and hopefully avoid a medical like I did with my ESA claim. We can but hope anyway!

It is perfectly OK for you to type your answers and attach them as extra pages to the PIP2, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.
Attach the pages to the back of the PIP2 using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.
