Many thanks for the responses - very useful. I guess it would have helped if I had specified "landline"

. As it happens, the "Android" info may yet be useful in any case.
Cipolar: my case is at the stage of Mandatory Reconsideration (PIP). My claim was refused with nil points and the extracts from the assessment report, as reproduced in the DWP's notification letter, indicate either gross incompetence and/or deliberate dishonesty on the part of the Disability Assessor and/or the decision maker. I won't say more at this time but, energy allowing, I intend to offer B & W a full blog / story, for publication, about my experiences with both the DWP and the NHS since my health left me with no option but to claim benefit in 2010. Suffice to say, I would wish those experiences on only my worst enemies.
The interest in recording telecons is borne out of the cautionary information in B & W's guides (reflected by posts on this forum) relating to potential calls from the DWP. When appealing an ESA decision in 2010/2011, an appeals officer telephoned me and I made the mistake of talking (despite already knowing it was dumb to do so!). What I had stated was twisted beyond recognition by the DWP. Fortunately, I had good representation at the Tribunal hearing and the appeal was successful (nearly 15 months after the appeal had been made). It is with all this in mind that I think it would be prudent to be able to record telecons.
